Unit of Bio-Chemistry has got two funtional unit.

A) Academic

•MBBS (UG and PG) - For UG There are competent faculty members for MBBS theory and Practical classes. The Classes, syllabus and curriculum are as per the MCI guidelines. For PG This department is the hub of the research activities of all the PG students of various clinical subjects.There are faculty members who are monitoring the research activities in the laboratory round the clock.

•Paramedical (DMLT, B.Sc Nursing, DOTT, Diploma in ICU, Dialysis Technician and ICU Technician)

B) Clinical Bio-Chemistry

•Routine Tests: Routine blood tests are performed in the Clinical Biochemistry laboratory and the Central laboratory under the supervision of competent faculty members from 8.00AM to 8.00 PM on all days except sundays and National holidays

.TESTS DONE in the Central Laboratory of the Hospital are
BLOOD      Glucose, Urea, Creatinine, LFT, CPK,CPK-MB.
URINE        R/E, Protein, Ketone Bodies

TESTS DONE in the CLINICAL BIOCHEMISTRY LABORATORY of the department are
BLOOD     LIPID PROFILE, ELECTROLYTES, URIC ACID,LIPASE, AMYLASE
URINE      MICROPROTEIN, albumin/creatinine ratio, electrolytes,

•Special tests:

•ALL SPECIAL TESTS ARE DONE IN THE CLINICAL BIOCHEMISTRY LABORATORY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF BIOCHEMISTRY

•The tests done are TSH,T3,T4,LH,FSH,PROLACTIN, FERRITIN.

OUR LABORATORY WORKS FOR 12HRS ON ALL WEEK DAYS
