Telemedicine
To overcome shortage of medial teachers & heterogeneity in medical education & health care, a national initiative has been taken to spread education & support health care in different medical colleges from respective regional resource centre. The country has been divided in 6 zones such as Eastern Zone, Western Zone, Northern Zone, North Eastern Zone, Southern Zone & Central zone under National Medical College Network (NMCN).
Midnapore Medical College being part of West Bengal is connected to this network for support of education in health care under Regional Resource Center located at SGPGIMS, Lucknow.
